Inspired by the energy of Beltane—the midpoint between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice—this drawing explores the "marriage" between earth and sky. The sun gives and the earth receives, weaving energy into life.
I wanted to reimagine this union. We often see the feminine archetype depicted as gentle, calm, and nurturing. But nature teaches us that she is also proactive, wild, courageous, and decisive.
