Hi, wanderer!
I’m Adina, a part-time artist based in Romania. I share my life with my husband, our border collie, Luffy, and our two cats, Sake & Suzu. I earned my BA and MA in Photography from the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, and today I balance my full-time job as a Product Designer with my art practice.
Photography, my first love, remains a meditative escape, but over time my focus has shifted toward drawing, which has slowly become part of my daily rhythm and the place where everything makes sense.
I’m constantly inspired by nature, grainy film photography, and books - especially magical realism. Most days, you’ll find me in my cozy studio corner, chasing something just beyond words and visual representation.
Art statement
My graphite and charcoal drawings explore our inner landscapes, the emotional and spiritual journey of self-discovery and transformation. I trace the complex spectrum of human emotion, from serenity to melancholy, often using nature as both a setting and a guide.
I’m drawn to symbols, myths, and bits of folklore that hint at something beyond the surface. Through these elements, I try to capture the mystery within the ordinary, the sense that the unseen, the sacred, and the inexplicable are quietly embedded in everyday life.
My drawings invite viewers into moments that feel like secret rituals or quiet revelations, as if time itself had paused for an instant of clarity or insight.
